Vapor Tech Production Coating Systems fall into two distinctive categories - LTAVD Systems and Filtered Arc Systems. Our proprietary Low Temperature Arc Vapor Deposition (LTAVD®) technology systems operate at low temperatures and are capable of depositing a wide range of extremely durable metallic finishes. Our LTAVD systems are capable of precision coating a wide variety of substrates including temperature-sensitive materials such as plastics and plated zinc.

Vapor Tech Filtered Arc Systems incorporate proprietary technologies and innovations to bring reliable, production-level wide area filtered arc coating capacity to industry. Our Filtered Arc Systems produce low-macro particle surface coatings in a variety of materials for critical applications where dimensional tolerances, surface smoothness, extreme hardness, sliding friction and other attributes are required.

Vapor Tech offers coating system configurations suitable for both large and small batch operations. While the individual systems are designed to meet different manufacturing volume requirements, each category of Vapor Tech's coating systems utilize production-tested designs and components to deliver coatings with superior performance and appearance.

• Vapor Tech Source: Our patented center-mounted LTAVD arc source allows maximum part density for greatest throughput while ensuring uniform coverage.

• Vapor Tech Vacuum Chambers: Our coating system vacuum chambers are constructed of electropolished 304-series stainless steel and are trace-cooled on the outside. Large clamshell doors allow ease of loading, unloading, servicing and maintenance.

• Computer Control Accuracy: Our easy-to-use computer control system allows operators to utilize standard or custom "recipes" and to activate the systems with a single input to start the automated process. Sophisticated instrumentation monitors all process parameters, ensuring repeatability within exacting tolerances.
